Surrounded by many family and friends Jen and Phil pronounced themselves as man and wife during a lovely sunset wedding. The celebration took place at the Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs. A lot of talented people came together to make this evening special. One of my favorite moments of the evening was the Photobooth. I loved how much fun the guests (and the B+G) were having!

Since it still felt like summer in the desert, the scene for the engagement session was a little bit of country…Oak Glen. I love Oak Glen. The crisp air, sweet apples, and homemade apple pie. Joe and Joanna (cute, huh?) fit right in. They are such an easy-going and relaxed couple. I forgot to mention cool, as they brought along a set of motorcycles to include in the shoot. They are founders of Redeemed Racing, a motor-cross ministry that creates a safe atmosphere for its members and helps share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others on and off the track. To learn more about their ministry check out their website at www.www.redeemedracing.com. Here are come of my fav’s:

This weekend I had a blast photographing the alumni of Cathedral City High School. They celebrated their 10 year reunion at the Doral Resort in Cathedral City. Instead of taking posed portraits with a cheesy backdrop, the group opted for The Photobooth…or may I say Crazybooth. I enjoy taking photobooth style portraits at events because the guests LOVE it. They let loose and have a ball working the camera being silly, crazy, serious, you name it. If you are interested in having a Photobooth at your next event feel free to contact me.

I’d like to introduce you to a new addition to the JAP family. The mini accordion book. I customed designed this book for Amber, a high school senior, to share with her family and friends. This little book is 3 in. x 3 in, and is the perfect size to carry in your purse or pocket. I heart them!

Several months ago, I wrote a blog post about Jessica and Tyler. Their wedding was a truly a special occasion. First, it was held at Thatcher Manor, a colonial style estate built by the Groom’s father. I was amazed to learn that his father designed and built the estate home when he was in his twenties. Secondly, the groom was one of my husband’s former Sunday school students when he was a youth pastor. They grow up so fast! Lastly, there was a relaxed atmosphere. It was a reunion of sorts being surrounded by friends. Here are some images from their lovely garden wedding held at Thatcher Manor in Riverside.

This was one of my most favorite baby sessions to date. I had the privilege of photographing sweet baby Mae. I loved capturing how she interacted with her mommy & daddy. Mom & Dad were so easy going and flexible thorughout the entire session. We even ventured outdoors to a field of flowers. We had to climb a hill of dirt to get there and got dirty but it was totally worth it. Thanks for choosing me to capture this beautiful moment in your lives!

This session was sooo much fun! Alex, although a little camera shy, was willing to try some uncomfortable yet visually striking poses. This includes the one of her about to kiss the lizard. Thanks Alex for being such a good sport. Congratulations and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
